Court records statement of MP Prabhunath Singh

Patna, June 13 (UNI) A local fast track court here today recorded the statements of Janata Dal (U) MP Prabhunath Singh in two separate cases of murder and kidnapping.

The fast track court judge K K Sinha had recorded the statements of twelve people,including Mr Singh, in both the cases.

The first case dealt with the murder of Kishori Rai in which eight people, including Mr Singh, were accused, and the second case was related to the kidnapping and subsequent murder of Ramekbal Manjhi in which again four including, Mr Singh, were accused.

Both the cases were transferred to Patna Civil Court for hearing by an order of Patna High Court.
