Brad Pitt drives me to succeed: Chris Martin

New York, June 13 : He may have been the one who married her, and may be the father of her children, but that still hasn't stopped Coldplay frontman Chris Martin from feeling threatened by wife Gwyneth Paltrow's former fiance Brad Pitt.

The British rocker admitted to Rolling Stone magazine that he still hasn't gotten over the fact that his Oscar winning wife was once engaged to Pitt.

In fact, that's what drives his to succeed in his field.

"If your wife went out with Brad Pitt you'd want to prove yourself, you know what I mean?" Martin said.

He also admits that he was a rather late bloomer when it came to sex, not loosing his virginity until he was 22.

"There were religious issues and s--t like that. Also confidence. I had a tricky time with girls," he says.
