Bomb scare at government complex proves hoax

Panaji, Jun 13 (UNI) An annonymous phone call, saying that a bomb had been planted at the busy Junta House government complex on the 19th June Road in the heart of the city proved to be a hoax after a thorough search.

The police evacuated all the employees, who had hitherto been on indefinite pen-down strike from today, and made thorough search of the complex in the afternoon.

Security has, however, been beefed up in the city, particularly at the government complexes.
