BJP demands resignation of Goa Law Minister, asks CM to remove him
Panaji, Jun 13 (UNI) With a city court yesterday framing charges against state Law Minister Dayanand Narvekar for his alleged involvement in India-Australia ODI cricket ticket scam of 2001, the BJP opposition leader in Goa Legislative Assembly Manhoar Parrikar today demanded Mr Narvekar's resignation from the Cabinet.
Interacting with mediapersons here, Mr Parrikar said Chief Minister Digambar Kamat should sack the minister, if the latter failed to resign forthwith.
It was in the fitness of things that the minister, facing criminal charges, should resign, he added.
