5 civilians injured in north Kashmir blast

Baramulla, Jun 13 (UNI) At least five people were wounded in a grenade blast near a police station here today, official sources said.

They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a security force vehicle near a police station at 1530 hrs this afternoon.

However, it missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside causing injuries to five persons.

The injured had been hospitalised.

This was the first such attack in the town this year.
