Truck crushes child, man to death

Sangrur, Jun 12 (UNI) A speeding truck crushed a child and a man to death near village Badrukhan in the district this morning.

The truck driver managed to flee without trace after hitting a 12-year-old unidentified child and a youth identified as Maghar Singh of Kunran on separate bicycles, police said.

Both died on the spot.

Police has registered case against unidentified driver under sections 279, 304 A and 427 of IPC.
