Krishna comes out with stock answer ''I dont know''

Bangalore, June 12 (UNI) Krishna, who according to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is a key witness in the sensational Aarushi murder case, today came up with a stock answer - ''I don't know'', for most of the questions during the narco-analysis test conducted in a city hospital today.

According to sources, the test which lasted for six hours, Krishna, a compounder in the dental clinic of Dr Rajesh Talwar, the father of the slain teenager and the main accused in the case, did not reveal much.

However, Krishna, who was brought to the city yesterday by the CBI, had said during the test that Dr Talwar looked nervous a few days before the murder took place, sources said.

The 14-year-old Aarushi and her attendant Hemraj were found dead in her Noida home on May 15.

Dr Malini, Joint Director of city-based Forensic Science Laboratory, conducted the narco test.

Refusing to reveal the details of the test, she said Krishna was subjected to polygraphy test yesterday and he would undergo brain mapping test tomorrow.

The narco-analysis test was conducted to ascertain contradiction, if any, in his statement during questioning earlier.

Emerging out of the operation theater block in the Government Bowring Hospital, where the narco test was conducted, CBI Joint Commissioner Arun Kumar refused to give any detail saying that he was not present during the narco test and interrogation of Krishna.

However he maintained that the compounder was a key witness in the case.

Krishna was brought to the hospital amid tight security by CBI officials and taken straight to the operation theater, where he had undergone the four-hour test.

Krishna is said to possess valuable information on the alleged illicit affair Dr Talwar had with a woman doctor, who was the partner of the clinic.

Under fire for illegally detaining Krishna for over ten days, the CBI yesterday broke its silence over the continuing interrogation of suspects in the case and said the compounder had been subjected to 'various tests' to verify the contradictions in his earlier statements given to the Noida police.
