Kerala's education sector in shambles: Karunakaran
Kochi, Jun 12 (UNI) Senior Congress leader K Karunakaran today alleged that Kerala's education sector was in a shambles due to 'irresponsible' policies of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government in the state.
Launching the website of renowed cartoonist Yesudasan here, Mr Karunakran said ''students and parents were equally anxious about the future of the education sector in the state.'' Coming down heavily on the LDF government, Mr Karunakaran said ''Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan is a good man but he pretends that he is unaware of the functioning of his cabinet colleagues.'' ''More over the problems between the two political parties (CPI and CPM) were adversely affecting the interests of the state and the government was betraying the people,'' Mr Karunakaran said.
