Foreign currency collected in donation box of Pashupatinath temple

Mandsaur, MP, June 12 (UNI) Foreign currencies, including that of British East India Company, has been found in the donation box at famous Ashtamukhi Bhagvan Pashupatinath temple here.

Temple management Committee trustee Pandit Lalit Bharadwaj said Rs 2.26 lakh has been collected from donation box since the past one month.

These include nine notes of Rs 1,000, 78 notes of Rs 500 and 375 notes of Rs 100.

Besides, two coins of the British East Indian Company, 20 cent coin of Malaysia, three Nepali currency notes and silver jewellery were collected.
