Driver killed, 29 injured in Jammu road accident
Jammu, Jun 12 (UNI) A driver of a bus died while 29 passengers were injured in a head-on collision between two buses in tehsil Mendhar of Poonch district, police here today said.
Police said the buses coming from the opposite directions, met with an accident near Chane-Di-Bawali in Mendhar this afternoon.
''Locals and police rushed to the spot and rescued the injured and shifted them to Mendhar hospital,'' police told UNI.
However, critically injured driver identified as Mohd Saroon resident of Sagra succumbed after being hospitalised, police added.
