Counterfeit currency seized, one held
Gorakhpur, June 12 (UNI) Police today arrested a man possessing counterfeit currency worth Rs 6,500 in Chori-Chaura colony here today.
Acting on an information, police managed to arrest Surfiddin from near Rampur crossing, police said.
On frisking, fake notes were recovered from him.
Later, the arrested confessed to the crime, saying he brought the curreny from Bihar and Nepal, police added.
