Bullion contract weak

Mumbai, Jun 12 (UNI) Bullion contracts continued to weaken as Gold August 08 contract and October 08 contract lost 1.34 pc each to Rs 12,077 and Rs 12,118 per ten gm respectively at the Multi Commodity Exchange today, Silver lost its shine as Sept 08 contract fell by 1.64 pc to Rs 23,614 per kg.

Nickel June 08 contract gained 2.56 pc at Rs 1023.50 per kg. Lead Aug 08 contract was down by 2.40 pc at Rs 83.20 per kg. Energy contract also followed the bearish trend. Crude oil June 08 contract fell by Rs 2.92 pc to Rs 5717 per barrel.

Cardamon July 08 contract was up by 1.82 pc to Rs 698 per kg.

Mentha oil July 08 contract went up by 0.19 pc to Rs 475.80 per kg, a MCX release said.
