Asst. Engineer arrested

Hydeabad, June 12 (UNI) Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau today conducted simultaneous raids and unearted disproprtionate assets worth Rs 80 lakhs from an Assistant Engineer in the Irrigation Department, and arrested him at Siddipet in Medak district.

The Assets, including seven plots, five houses, 17.35 acres of agricultural land, were unearthed during simultaneous searches in the residences of the official S Mutha Goud and his relatives in Siddipet, Hanamkonda and Bheemavaram of Warangal district, an ACB release here said.

The accused was produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPL and ACB cases here, the release added.
