Woman ties nuptial knot with polio patient
Mandsaur, MP, Jun 11 (UNI) A woman has set an example before society by marrying a polio-affected man in this district.
Manju Modi (30) tied the nuptial knot with Rameshwar (32), who is suffering from polio in legs, at a plain function at 'Viklang Ashram' in the town yesterday. Their family members were present at the wedding.
Manju and Rameshwar had met about three years back. Both started a school for better employment. Their frequent meetings brought them close.
Manju was deeply touched by Rameshwar's dedication for work and decided to marry him although he kept her advising not to do so due to his disease.
The couple are employed as contract teachers in government schools since the past one year. Manju is posted at Alot tahsil in Ratlam, while Rameshwar is posted at Bajna tahsil in Padhag village in Ratlam.
