Semester system in MP colleges

Bhopal, Jun 11 (UNI) Semester system will be introduced for graduate and postgraduate courses in the colleges in Madhya Pradesh from the 2008-09 academic session.

A decision in this regard has been taken by the state government's Higher Education department, official sources said today.

To start with, semester system will be introduced in first year of graduation and previous year of post-graduation this year.

In order to acquaint the teaching staff with the semester system, training sessions would be organised at different levels with a special two-day workshop here from June 14.
