Madhya Pradesh: Semester system in colleges

Bhopal, June 11: Semester system will be introduced for graduate and postgraduate courses in the colleges in Madhya Pradesh from the 2008-09 academic session.

A decision in this regard has been taken by the state government's Higher Education department, official sources said today.

To start with, semester system will be introduced in graduation first year and post graduate previous classes this year.

In order acquaint the teaching staff with the semester system, training sessions were being organised at different level with a special two-day workshop here from June 14.
