Sanguine Media forays into In-Film Advertising

Chennai, June 11 (UNI) Sanguine Media Limited, a public limited company, has forayed into In-Film Advertising to provide more options to its clients and agencies in reaching their target consumers.

''With more than 400 films being produced in South India annually, Sanguine is very optimistic of scaling new heights with this opportunity,'' a company release here said today.

Sanguine had successfully completed an In-Film advertising assignment for 'Kuselan', a Tamil/Telugu film produced by M/s Kavithaalaya and Seven Arts, starring Superstar Rajnikant, it said.

The traditional method of displaying brand signages during a song or a fight sequence in a film was outdated. It would be more effective if the brands were woven into the fabric of the film.

This was more challenging as it needed expertise to blend the brand into the film, keeping in focus the characters and scenes, it said.

Brands and agencies were continually exploring various media options for mass and focused communication. Indian film industry, with its enormous reach, was one of the best platforms for the brands to reach their target consumers in a sublime level at a relatively low cost.

''Sanguine's mission is to become an extended arm for brand managers and media agencies. In-film advertising will supplement our present business by giving more options to advertisers and will help film producers to generate revenues from alternate sources,'' company Managing Director D V Vinod said.

This new extension of Sanguine would generate Rs three to Rs five crore this financial year, he added.
