Mumbai experiences pleasant morning
Mumbai, Jun 11 (UNI) A pleasant morning after a continuous downpour for five days, was a short interval that city and its adjoining districts experienced today.
A dry spell was accomparied by rays of sun and public transport system got back to normalcy.
The Disaster cell of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said ''Vehicular traffic was on time as there was no water clogging at any part of the city.'' The local trains, the life line of metropolis, were also on time, Railway Control Room officials said.
Meanwhile, the Meterological Department forecast spell of rains or thundershowers with heavy to very heavy rainfalls to occur in parts of city and suburbs in next 24 hours.
The Department has recorded rainfall of 63.5 mm rainfall at Colaba and 29.9 mm at Santacruz overnight During the season, Colaba received 428.3 mm rainfall and Santacruz measured 451.7 mm.
