MPCC spokesperson criticises Joshi on his PhD enrollment

Mumbai, Jun 11 (UNI) Maharshtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) spokesperson Hussein Dalwai today criticised the way in which the University of Mumbai enrolled Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi within 24 hours after filling the form for PhD degree and demanded a thorough enquiry into the affairs of the varsity.

Speaking to media at the MPCC office here, Mr Dalwai said ''How can the University grant enrollments to a student within 24 hours? Mr Joshi applied on November 30 and got enrolled on December one.'' He alleged that the guide of Mr Joshi for PhD, Venkatesh Kumar, was promoted by passing claims of many senior colleagues.

''What is the exact relationship between Mr Kumar and Mr Joshi?'' he demanded.
