IIMA accredited by EQUIS
Ahmedabad, June 11 (UNI) The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA), has been accredited by European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), the leading international accreditation body for International business schools.
IIMA has become the first and only business school in India to obtain international accreditation and is now among the 113 EQUIS-recognized schools in the world, IIMA sources said here today.
The EQUIS Scheme has been designed with special focus on all the activities of business schools that aim to meet international standards of quality.
While accrediting management schools, EQUIS looks for balance between high academic quality and the professional relevance provided by close interaction with the corporate world, the sources said.
