Gold Feb 09 contract down

Mumbai, Jun 11 (UNI) Gold February 09 contract was down 3 pc to Rs 12,296 per 10 grams, while Silver September 08 contract was up 0.13 pc to Rs 23618 per kg and silver November 08 contract up 0.09 pc to Rs 23900 per kg at the Multi Commodity Exchange today.

All copper contracts, zinc contracts, tin, a few in nickel and lead were down. Lead June 08 contract shed 2.08 pc to Rs 82.35 per kg. Crude oil July 08 contract edged up by 1.17 pc to Rs 5726 per barrel.

Pepper June 08 contract lost 2 pc at Rs 14406 per quintal.

Turmeric June 08 contract improved by 1.28 pc to Rs 4118 per quintal. Mentha oil July 08 contract went up by 1.56 pc to Rs 474.90 per kg and jute June 08 contract by 1.09 pc to Rs 1578 per quintal.

Soyabean rose by 0.16 pc to Rs 2480 per quintal.

Cardamom September 08 contract was up by 3 pc to Rs 600 per kg while tin June 08 contract was down by 3.93 pc to Rs 886 per kg, MCX release said.
