Bharti Telesoft partners with Barclays for Hello Money
Mumbai, Jun 11 (UNI) Bharti Telesoft, the leading provider of integrated VAS solutions for mobile operators, today announced its partnership with Barclays Global Retail&Commercial Banking (GRCB), to deliver the technology architecture for their mobile banking service -- ''Hello Money''.
Barclays Hello Money, enables customers an access to banking services anytime and anywhere on their cell phones, with sevices such as account enquiries, financial transactions, including fund transfers, bill payments, requests and other banking transactions, Bharti Telesoft CTO Anil Gajwani said in a release.
The service has the potential to impact the way 184 million unbanked people in India use financial services, he said.
Elaborating on the announcement, Mr Gajwani said, ''We are excited about this new initiative from Barclays that is developed on the mobiquity platform. This partnership gives us an excellent opportunity to showcase our technological commitment towards mBanking in India.'' UNI AR RN VKG2012
