Airtel launches services in Poonch

Jammu, Jun 11 (UNI) Expanding its reach and network, telecommunication company Airtel Jammu and Kashmir today launched its services in bordering Surankote area of Poonch district, an official spokesman here said.

''This is in continuation with the Airtel endeavor to bring in the best in telecom at the doorsteps of the common man,'' the spokesman said adding that with this Airtel J&K achieved yet another distinction of setting its footprints in the far-flung areas of the state.

''Excluding the border villages, Airtel network will ring in all the 51 villages of the Surankote tehsil while the customers will enjoy reach in terms of products through 200 retailers and one distributor,'' the Airtel spokesman said.
