7 injured as truck overturns due to rains

Mumbai, Jun 11 (UNI) As many as ten persons were injured, when a truck carrying plastic sheets overturned after skidding due to heavy rains in the western suburbs this evening.

According to officials from the disaster management cell, the speeding truck overturned after the driver lost control over the vehicle.

Seven persons were rushed to Cooper hospital for treatment and 5 were discharged after first aid. ''Only Two persons have been admitted,'' the official added.
