Ulfa 'sergeant major' killed

Sivsagar, June 10 (UNI) An ULFA militant was shot dead by a joint team of the Army and Assam Police at Timon in Sivsagar district early this morning.

The deceased has been identified as 'sergeant major' Aditya Naidu of the '28th battalion' of the outfit. One pistol was recovered from him.
