Two suspected militants arrested near Jammu city
Jammu, June 10 (UNI) Two suspected militants were arrested from Domana in city outskirts here this evening, following the interception of across the border telephonic communication from the area.
''Acting on the intercepted communication, troops of CRPF and Special Operations Group of state police arrested two suspected militants from Anuradhapuram in Barnai area this evening'' an official source told UNI.
Standby army troops had also plugged major routes through the area while searches were still going on, sources informed.
The operation has created panic in the area with people fearing another encounter in the city.
There are reports that militant outfits may attempt to disrupt ensuing Amarnath pilgrimage to show their presence in the region.
