Two killed, 20 injured in road accident
Begusarai, Jun 10 (UNI) Two people were killed and 20 others sustained serious injuries in a road accident at Rani village under Bachhwara police station area in the district today.
Police said a mini bus carrying about 30 passengers collided head-on with a stationary truck on NH-28 near the village on Samastipur-Barauni highway killing two people on the spot. At least 20 passengers sustained serious injuries.
The injured were rushed to local hospitals, where three of them were stated to be critical and referred to the Patna Medical College and Hospital, the police added.
