Three minors feared drowned in Chenani hydel project reservoir

Jammu, Jun 10 (UNI) Three minor siblings, including two girls, were feared drowned in the reservoir of Chenani Hydro-power project in Udhampur district, about 75 kms from here, police sources said today.

The children, identified as Sunil, 3, Preeti, 6, and Anu, 8, were missing since last evening in village Pakhlai of Chenani.

''They are feared to have slipped into the reservoir but it is still not confirmed as their bodies have not been found,'' SHO, police station Udhampur, Jagdev Singh told UNI.

Work is on to drain out the reservoir, he informed.
