SRTC makes arrangment for Khir Bhawani devotees

Srinagar, Jun 10 (UNI) In view of the strike by transporters, the Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) has made arrangments for devotees of Khir Bhawani Mela, one of the important festivals of Kashmiri pandits, tomorrow.

An official spokesman said the devotees would be picked up at Zeethyar, Boulevard road, Batwara near Shangrilla Hotel, Civil Secretariat and TRC Srinagar for Khir Bhawani temple at Tulmulla.

The SRTC has also made elaborate arrangements for Khir Bhawani devotees from Jammu and back, and also for Vaishno Devi Yatris, he claimed.

He said the Corporation's vehicles are operating on all inter- district and trunk routes, tourist destination for various routes, inter-city routes, Civil Secretariat, Airport and National Highway.

The Cargo Division is also operating for supply of essentials throughout the state.
