Power theft cases against farmers to be withdrawn: Chouhan
Bhopal, June 10(UNI) All power theft cases registered against farmers of Madhya Pradesh will be withdrawn, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said.
Similarly, encroachers dwelling on forest land till 2005 would be given land pattas, while encroachment cases registered against them till December, 2005 would be withdrawn as also power theft cases against farmers, he said at a function at Bhabra in Alirajpur district yesterday to mark the launch of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha's ''Yuva Jodo'' campaign.
Bhabra in western Madhya Pradesh is the birth place of martyr Chandra Shekhar Azad.
Mr Chouhan said the state government would provide bank guarantee for education loan to the kin of poor people to pursue higher education.
He held out the assurance that the government would declare its youth policy after taking into consideration the Morcha's suggestions in this regard. 'Livelihood Mission' was launched in the state as government jobs could not be provided to all, he added.
