Navy officer felicitated

Dehra Dun, Jun 10 (UNI) Indian Navy officer Vijendra Singh Negi was today felicitated by Uttarakhand Chief Minister B C Khanduri for successfully scaling the Neelkanth Range and the snow-capped North and South Poles.

Negi was presented a token of honour by the Chief Minister, who congratulated him for completing the arduous expeditions at the age of 26.

Negi belongs to the Chief Minister's constiuency of Badeth.

During his five years of service in the Navy, Negi has trekked to the North and South Poles in 2006-2007. This year, he successfully scaled the Neelkanth Range.
