Mukesh Ambani offers worship at Lord Balaji temple

Tirumala, Jun 10 (UNI) Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh D Ambani has offered worship at Lord Sri Venkateswara temple here last night.

According to temple sources here, Mr Mukesh, who arrived along with his family, was received at the temple by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B Karunakara Reddy and Special Officer A V Dharma Reddy.

Reliance Chairman gave an assurance to the TTD that he would donate 50 per cent of the funds for the Devasthanam's proposed corporate level school at each district in Andhra Pradesh for the benefit of the poor.

He also asked the TTD officials to send him a detailed report on it.

Earlier, Mr Ambani had donated Rs 51 lakh each to the TTD run Kalyana Masthu programme and Vidyadhan Trust, the sources added.
