Miscreants loot taxi

Mumbai, Jun 10 (UNI) A taxi was grabbed from the possession of its driver by two miscreants at knife point today.

At around 0030 hrs the duo hired a taxi no MH-02-R-5404 from Kherwadi, Bandra for Malad. They halted the taxi while travelling under the pretext of natural call.

At that time one of the accused threaten the taxi-driver, Ravindra Jamindar Singh (32), with the help of knife and another took vehicle keys and throw him out of taxi and fled in the looted taxi worth Rs 50,000.

Police have registered a case of loot, the police added.
