JD of Agriculture Dept suspended for negligence

Dharwad, Jun 10 (UNI) Joint director of Agriculture here N V Chandrasekhar has been suspended pending inquiry for negligence of duty in ensuring supply of sufficient quantity of chemical fertiliser to the farmers.

An official release said here this evening that Agriculture and Horticulture department secretary G K Gurani today ordered the suspension of the official.

Dharwad district Agriculture Training Centre Deputy Director Rameshkumar had been asked to take over the additional charge as Joint Director, the release added.
