Infosys gets two Banker Technology Awards
Hyderabad, June 10 (UNI) IT bellwether Infosys Technologies has received two of the prestigious The Banker Technology Awards for its outstanding work in the field of wholesale and capital markets.
Infosys' Program Autumn project, with one of Europe's leading banks, was awarded the 2008 Offshoring and Outsourcing Project of the Year award, while its impressive Money Movement project, with a global financial services company, won the 2008 Payments and Treasury Services Project of the Year award.
The Banker Technology Awards, which celebrated excellence and innovation in all areas of banking, presented Infosys with the two accolades at this year's award ceremony recently, a company release here said.
''I am delighted that Infosys' dedication to bringing innovative global sourcing solutions and deep domain expertise has been recognised by The Banker,'' Mr Ashok Vemuri, Senior Vice-President and Global Head (Banking and Capital Markets group) at Infosys, said.
''This award is a testament to our domain expertise, project execution and innovation in the banking and capital markets space at a global level,'' he said.
