HCL Digilife targets 32 stores in six months

New Delhi, Jun 10 (UNI) With the digital lifestyle market set to touch Rs 10,000 crores by 2010, HCL Infosystems' retail initiative 'HCL Digilife' plans to set up about 100 HCL Digilife stores over next six months.

HCL will look at establishing close to 100 HCL Digilife stores, over next six months, equally focusing on metros and state capitals.

The primary expansion model will that be of franchising, while HCL has over six of its own stores to provide a benchmark for franchisee outlets nationwide, a company statement said.

Each such retail would approximately be spread over an area of 750-1200 square feet, it added.

The company currently has 68 HCL Digilife stores.

Started a year back, the retail chain has won six awards, including the Retailer of the Year Award - Consumer Durables from Asia Retail Congress, Best in Retail category - Speciality from Franchise India Holdings, and No 1 IT retail Company from VAR India.
