BSP selects candidates for Raj polls
Bikaner, Jun 10 (UNI) The Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) has finalised the names of its nominees for 70 per cent of the total 200 seats for upcoming Assembly elections in Rajasthan due to be held by November this year.
However, a formal announcement will be made at an appropriate time, party general secretary and incharge of Rajasthan unit Dharmveer Ashok said.
Talking to reporters here last evening, Mr Ashok said the chosen prospective candidates had been informed individually of the decision so that they initiate preparations.
He said aspirants from all communities were being given due representation in the selection of candidates.
Mr Ashok said the party would contest all the 200 Assembly seats in the state and emerge as a force to dictate terms for the formation of a new government after the elections.
Mr Ashok was in town to participate in the party's political meetings held here yesterday.
