Bihar: Eight get life for murder
Jamui, Jun 10: Altogether eight people were awarded life imprisonment by local courts today in murder cases. Fast track court judge Jagannath Rai found six accused guilty of killing their co-villager and awarded them life term under section 302 of IPC.
According to the charges the convicts had killed one Basudev Yadav at Bhandra village in the district on July 24, 1990 following a group clash. In another verdict Additional District and Sessions Judge Navneet Pandey awarded life imprisonment to two accused in another murder case.
