80 bulls seized from trucks
Shajapur, MP, Jun 10 (UNI) Eighty bulls, which were being transported illegally in seven trucks, were freed on Indore-Kota National Highway near this district's Agar area, police said today.
Additional Superintendent of Police Manohar Singh Jamra said on a tip-off the trucks were searched last night and the bulls freed.
The trucks were enroute to Mahidpur from here. All the drivers are absconding. The bovine animals were sent to the cowshed.
A case was registered under Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, he added.
