114 people admitted in hospitals for monsoon related ailments
Mumbai, Jun 10 (UNI) With heavy rains lashing the city, the number of monsoon related ailments is on the rise with 114 people admitted to government hospitals in the last 24 hours.
According to civic officials, 73 patients have been admitted for treatment of fever, 29 for gastroenteritis and 12 for malaria, in various government hospitals in the city.
Additional Municipal Commissioner Kishore Gajbiye, while addressing mediapersons here today, said the hospitals in the city are well stocked with medicines and adequate arrangements have been made for the patients, as the number is expected to increase after the early arrival of monsoon.
