Woman hangs self due to marital discord

New Delhi, Jun 9 (UNI) A 22-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Rohini area of outer Delhi owing to marital discord within a year of marriage.

Vanishka was found hanging at her Rohini Sector 5 residence early this morning, said the police.

''She worked as a booking clerk in a travel agency and was married to Bhupinder last year.'' No suicide note has been found and preliminary investigations suggest marital discord.

An SDM enquiry has been ordered and investigations began after a case was registered, police added.
