Two get death sentence in police station loot-cum-murder case
Biharsharif, Jun 09 (UNI) A local fast track court today awarded death sentence to two hardcore members of the proscribed MCCI in a police station loot-cum-murder case.
Fast track court judge Virendra Singh found both the accused guilty of killing a night watchman and a prisoner and looting the Chhabilapur police station in Nalanda district and awarded them capital punishment.
According to the charges, the convicts had attacked Chhabilapur police station in the midnight of August 11-12, 2005, and looted seven licensed rifles, two carbine, several rounds of live cartridges and cache of fire arms.
The ultras had also killed a night-watchman and prisoner.
