Traders, employees, transport and bar protest in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jun 9 (UNI) Traders, government employees, Kashmir Bar Association, transporters and Valley Citizen Council today took to streets here in protest against price rise of essential commodities and petroleum products.
They took out a joint procession from Lower Court complex near here and after marching through different streets gathered at Partap Park.
Raising slogans against the price rise, they said the government had no moral right to continue after failing to control the prices.
They demanded that the central government should resign or control the prices which had affected the common people, particularly the poor.
They said hike in petroleum products is going to have severe impact on every sphere of life and it will have inflating impact on the state economy.
There was, however, no strike call for traders and employees.
