Three killed, 12 injured in road accident
Rourkela, Jun 09(UNI) At least three persons were killed and 12 others injured, two of them critically, when their truck met with an accident near Kutra, about 50 kms from here.
Police said here today that the truck, carrying labourers, was on its way to Sundargarh yesterday when a dumper hit the vehicle from behind while trying to overtake it.
The truck driver died on the spot while two labourers succumbed to their injuries at the Rajgangpur Hospital.
Twelve others injured in the mishap were admitted to the hospital where the condition of two of them was stated to be critical, police said.
