Police recover 8 kg poppy husk, 2 arrested
Fatehgarh Sahib, Jun 9 (UNI) The district police recovered eight kg poppy husk from two different places and arrested two persons in this connection last night, sources today stated.
The police nabbed Yousaf Khan, a resident of village Phabbra of district Hoshiarpur near minor distributory of village Kahanpura during checking and recovered 4 kg poppy husk.
The police also nabbed Surjit Singh, a resident of village Deo of district Tarn Taran near minor distributory of village Jassran and recovered four kg poppy husk from him.
Both have been booked under the NDPS Act.
