Police foiled exfiltration bid in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jun 9,(UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police today foiled an exfiltration bid, when they arrested five boys, who were to be taken to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) by militants for arms training.

Giving details, a police spokesman said a tip off was received that a militant outfit had recruited five boys, motivating them to join the militant ranks and exfiltrate for arms training.

He said the state police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) arrested the boys at Sopore, before they were taken to the Line of Control (LoC) for crossing over to PoK.

The Baramulla Police handed over the five boys to their parents.
