Petrol prices to come down in MP: Gaur
Indore, June 9 (UNI) In accordance with the wishes of the party's central leadership, the BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh Government would reduce prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas.
A decision would be taken in this regard during the meeting of the concerned state cabinet sub-committee tomorrow.
State Commercial Tax Minister Babulal Gaur told reporters here that the meeting would discuss how much the prices should be slashed. Reduction in entry tax could also be announced.
At present, apart from VAT, 9.5 per cent entry tax is levied on petrol, diesel and cooking gas.
Meanwhile, state Congress spokesperson K K Mishra demanded relief by removing entry tax.
