Patwari held taking bribe

Chandigarh, June 9 (UNI) The Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has nabbed a 'patwari' (revenue official) while accepting bribe in Bhiwani district.

The 'patwari' Om Parkash,of Sham Kalan circle in Bhiwani was caught red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 from one Mahabir, resident of Sham Kalan village.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said that a case had been registered against Om Parkash under sections 7/13/49/88 of Prevention of Corruption Act.
