Metso to rebuild Sabah pulp mill in Malaysia

New Delhi, Jun 9 (UNI) Metso Paper today said it will rebuild a major part of Malaysia-based Sabah Forest Industries' (SFI) pulp mill and the order is valued at 30 million euros.

SFI, a subsidiary of country's largest paper firm Ballarpur Industries Ltd (BILT), will have Metso rebuild its pulp mill in Sabah, Malaysia and the project will be started during the second half of 2009, a company statement said.

The value of the order is about 30 million euros, it added.

The order includes a new wood handling line, rebuild of the cooking plant and the fibre line and an upgrade of the white liquor plant.
