Maoist leader Somen granted bail
Purulia, Jun 9 (UNI) Maoist leader Himadri Sen Ray alias Somen was today granted bail by Purulia district court.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Zahir Ahmed granted bail as police had failed to submit a chargesheet within three months of Somen's arrest.
Maoist leader's lawyer Sagar Mandal prayed for Somen's bail.
Somen was arrested allegedly on the charge of killing Purulia district committee member Rabindranath Kar and his wife in January, 2005.
